On Friending
I welcome people to friend this journal, if they'd like. I don't view it with emotional attachment; to my mind it's just an (unfortunately named) tool for keeping up with people. Because of spammers, I've had to turn off the notifications I used to get when someone friended me; if you want me to consider reciprocating (no promises), drop me an email or leave a comment on any post.
